Services

Individual Sessions

We offer individual sessions (both virtual and in-person) that incorporate different therapy styles for children, teens, young adults, adults, and parents. We use evidence-based therapy, such as: DBT, CBT, ERP, ACT, and more. We utilize an eclectic therapy approach and  work with you to personalize treatment based on experience and research to best meet your needs and foster your goals!

Parent Strategy Sessions

Along with individual sessions with your child/teen, we will incorporate parent sessions that focus on unique strategies to help get your family where you want it to be faster. If we are not working with your child individually, we still offer individual sessions focused on strategies to help you help your child.

Our work hours are typically Monday-Thursday 9am to 5pm, and our session hours range from 10am-4pm. This schedule may vary between therapists.

Most of our tween/teen clients find it helpful to work with their school counselor to adjust their study hall, lunch hour, or elective class to accommodate sessions.

Others choose to come in at a different time every week so that they are only missing the same class once a month or once every other month. We will do our best to work with your schedule!

Session Fees + Information

Our sessions are 50 minutes (give or take a couple minutes, depending on what the client needs that day) and $175 per session. Session fees must be paid at the conclusion of each session via credit card, HSA, cash, or check. Most insurances offer out of network (OON) benefits. We recommend taking the following steps prior to your first session so that we don’t run into any financial surprises in the future!

  1. Call your insurance and ask what the reimbursement rate would be for out of network psychotherapy
  2. Ask where you would send the “Super Bill.” This is essentially proof of service that you will send to your insurance in order to obtain reimbursement. We provide you with this at the end of every month, and usually insurance has an email or fax number they want you to send it to
  3. If your plan does not allow for reimbursement at this time, ask them if this would kick in at any point over the next year

Being an OON provider means that the number of sessions and duration of treatment will be tailored to what you need, instead of what your insurance allots. I will not have to prematurely diagnose you or your child with a mental health disorder at the start of therapy in order to continue providing services, and I will not have to share personal information regarding your family’s treatment goals, therapeutic progression, and details of the specific interventions I am using with your insurance company.

It means that you and your child get to be my clients,

not your insurance company.
